The name of Elizabeth Kubler-Ross is synonymous with death and dying; but it’s one of those topics that most of us prefer not to dwell on. For this reason, I suspect, the work of this remarkable woman is rarely given the attention it deserves. In fact, had it not been for a friend of mine enthusiastically sharing with me what she had learned through reading some of Elizabeth’s books, I too would have known little more than that Elizabeth Kubler-Ross was ‘that death lady’. Saturn in the Life and Death of Margaret Thatcher

Margaret Thatcher photoI passed by a newspaper stand in a shop this morning and noticed that Margaret Thatcher has just died. I didn’t know she was still alive, to be honest, and I don’t have any particularly strong feelings or views about her as a person or politician. In fact I can’t say I know very much about her career other than that she was nicknamed ‘the Iron Lady’ and, quite comically, ‘Attila the Hen’! She must have been a tough cookie. Continue reading
